I did it.

Can I just say, THANK GOODNESS last week is over. It was ridiculous.

I'm proud of myself for getting through it though, so if you'll grant me a vain moment, I will list my accomplishments.

  • Single mom for 5 days. I kept up the basic chores and meals, and did not kill anyone.

...although this child did have a fair share of time-outs.

  • Finally got rid of 2 different infections after 4 medications and some very unpleasant adverse reactions.
  • Made it to a presidency meeting and humanitarian project despite all the sickness.
  • Got up at 6am on a Saturday to take all my kids to the downtown metropolis and participate in the March of Dimes walk.
  • Our entire Team Tera met our goal and raised $1000 this year. Woohoo!!!!! So that had little to do with me, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
  • Prepared a nice dinner together Saturday night, and for the FIRST TIME in 15 months, we all (including Cooper) ate the same thing. Words cannot express...
  • I made 95 invitations to a church event, with only 5 days notice to get them done, and I made them all on a $2.00 budget.
  • Got me and the boys to 8:30am church on time. Booyah!

So basically you're saying you rocked this week, and you would like to come to my house to rock MY MONTHS when my husband is gone and I am not feeling as put together as you??? :) sounds good to me. :)

I'm sure you weren't seeking all kinds of praise and validation, but I'll give it anyway--You're awesome! I hope Malcom never goes away for a week... ever!

You are amazing... what a whirlwind of a week you have survived, you deserve a steaming cinnabon and 4 hours in NYC...why does Cooper have to be in the corner? And how much is he crying in that picture?

Wow. Very impressive! I can't believe Cooper stays in the corner for time outs! I have to put Ethan in his room... and lock the door. Is that bad? Also, I thought I was the only one who had to make 2 or 3 different meals for dinner every night. Now I know I'm normal, and my kids are too. :)

Your blankets and quiet book are super duper cute.

You
are
a-ma-zing.

Good for you for getting through a busy/rough week. Are you ready to take a week off now? I think it's justified.

I fully expect your good news next week in RS to be, "I didn't kill anyone two weeks ago."

Glad it's over and glad you made it.

Getting to church on time, alone, is an accomplishment. Way to go girl!
