Is it just me or is this 1000x CUTER than the typical reindeer with brown pipe cleaner for antlers? Little mousies with a candy cane tail! Imagine the color possibilities... OH SO FUN. The kids and I had a blast whipping these up this afternoon.
Cut a big fat teardrop out of felt for the body, and the ears are actually all one piece of felt that loops under the candy cane and up through 2 slits in the body. Glue on some eyes and a little nose! So sweet!

We had a few of these growing up and I've always loved them but have never made any. A few days ago someone gave one to Clara and I was so excited. Gee I'm lazy. :)
My VT gave me some of those last year and I thought it was so cute. And can I say that I just love the family fun magazine! It's awesome for great ideas.
