So if you wonder, where did I find the time to do this? Well, the answer is: I didn't. I am a freakish fanatic, and I kinda forced my way through at the expense of all else. HA! I need therapy.
Having said that, here are some things that I made in the past few weeks!
A simple flannel blankie for my nephew who is due in less than 2 months.

Angie (expectant momma) had the fabric for a while now,
so all I did was slap on the satin edge for her.

(The other side is solid red flannel.)
A crazy soft fuzzy blankie for a niece who is due to arrive in August.
I hope Holly (expectant momma) can stand all the bubble gum pink.

If only you could touch this zebra print! It is luscious.
And SASSY, don'tcha think?

Yay for satin edges!!!
I also coached my friend Anna through this new skirt for her little cutie.
Anna did all the work; I just sat there and bossed her around. :)
But it DID give me the hankering to have one for myself.
So I attempted the same skirt instructions for an Amy-sized version.
I've had my eye on this fabric for a long time.
I hope it worked out OK. I don't want to end up looking like a 6 yr old.

Maybe I will model it in another post.
Tonight was not favorable for skirt-wearing in the
shaved legs category.
Or the pasty white Casper category, for that matter.
COMING SOON:

It's allllllllmost done.
Can't wait to show you!

Your skirt turned out great! I loved those fabrics when you showed them to me and they're even better when made into something. Great job!
Oh I love your stuff Amy! You have serious talent!
Oh, oh I'm so excited! I've a project in mind that I might need some coaching on;)
Is it possible to get sick of bubble gum pink when baby girls are involved? Don't think so.
Um, you coached me through the easy parts and fixed my little inch-long mistake. Thanks again. :)
I love seeing all your projects. They are so cute! I can't wait to see your quiet book because I've been meaning to make one for TWO years now, but keep putting it off b/c I'm scared it'll turn out bad. I've purchased the last of my materials about 3 months ago, but still can't bring myself to actually sew it. I had to laugh at your need to finish a project once it's started as fast as you can, because that is totally me too!
SERIOUSLY you need to come and have a big sewing weekend with me! I am the SAME way--have to finish a project right away when I start it! You are just so amazing...I LOVE IT! :)
AND I LOOOOOVE that skirt. It will look AWESOME on you!
