hee hee
I realize that these are the world's most boring blog posts, but it's pretty exciting to me. So neener neener.

This is what my garden looks like today - 1 month after planting.
3 of the 4 items in that back row were purchased
as plants already (not grown from seeds by me.)
But still, they are getting lots bigger!
Let's take a closer look....

Strawberries!!!!
This is the first one to be turning a little pink!

There's a whole bunch more coming!

My 2 tomato plants are starting to flower,
which means tomatoes should be next!
(Is that the coolest photo or what? Don't ask me how I did it.)

These are the carrots.
They are so tiny and there's a million of them - WOO HOO!

If I'm lucky, someday this will turn into cantaloupe.

These are the cucumbers...
Hopefully we'll get lots because they are
Cooper's absolute FAVORITE!
Call me crazy, but there's just something exciting about waking up and seeing that new bright spot of green busting out of the dark soil. I am so at one with Mother Earth.... :D

I'm jealous. I have the blackest thumb in the world! I couldn't even keep a poinsetta alive for 2 weeks, and they're one of the easiest things in the world!
That is AMAZING! I would garden but the dogs would destroy it within minutes of it all being planted.
We will have to call you Farmer Amy from now on!
This is awesome! I am pretty jealous about the yard and space you have to work with--and I love that you are starting small (not the whole yard, just a box) and with things you love. Very cool!
Are you kidding? I love posts about people's gardens! Maybe I'm a boring person. I love to see what people are growing. I was curious to know what you decided to plant. I never have luck with viney plants (tried cantaloupe and watermelon, aphids killed my pumpkins last summer). You'll have to blog updates on your garden. I love my garden too. So much satisfaction comes from watching it grow day by day. Your garden looks great! I can't wait to see it when everything really gets big! Whoo hoo! :)
OH How I love this post. You show your green thumb and signs of spring. And dang it, that's pretty awesome! :)
I love your little garden! You are getting great results so quick.
