I LAVA you!

It is easy for me to forget/take for granted/overlook how many wonderful people I have in my life. People who love and support me on several occasions, if not everyday. Last week, when all heck broke loose with Cooper, I was flooded with assistance. I was overwhelmed with words of encouragement and offers for prayers on our behalf. Often I found myself rushing home to the computer just so I could read your well wishes. It was SO nice to have that small relief of positivity to save me from drowning in my worries.

There are so many people to thank, so many acts of service. As I said before, there were phone calls, emails, favors, and countless prayers sent up for Cooper. I may not even remember them all. I cannot begin to repay them, but this will be a small first attempt.

Since it's Valentine's Day, I just wanted to express my LOVE and appreciation to all of you, including:

Lindsey, for listening to my fears that very first night and letting me get it all out. Very needed.
Jason, for taking work off and being by my side
Mom, for bringing us a dinner even though you didn't have the time or the energy
Dad, for magically showing up at my house at the right time (twice) to watch the kids and help out
Kim, for relaying lots and lots of phone calls and updates, and many offers for help
Jen, for not hesitating to bring over a helmet when all I did was leave a quick message on your machine
Lindsey again, for sending me flowers across state lines
Alena, for driving Mitchell to scouts without even being asked
Afton, for bringing us dinner and not even delegating that one
Harmony, for being ready to do more than dinner the 2nd night, even though I turned you down
Diana (and 9 yr old Adam) for wanting their family, halfway across the country, to fast for Cooper today

Thank you everyone!

I love you too!

It's always my pleasure to talk to you for HOURS on the phone! Trust me, you have helped me countless times too, so consider me "repaid."

We'll do it again in a heartbeat (but hopefully for Cooper's sake we won't have to!).
