48 Hours

In the last 2 days, we have:

  • Found strange bruises all over my baby
  • Accidentally got baking flour in Tucker's eye, possibly giving him a scratched cornea
  • Taken kids to 3 doctor appointments
  • Held Cooper down for 2 blood draws
  • Got ready to host book club at my house
  • Cancelled book club at my house
  • Packed a bag for the hospital.... twice... but never went
  • Attended book club anyway, at someone else's house
  • Picked up prescriptions at Walgreens... twice
  • Glued and painted salt dough mountains on top of a huge box to finish up Mitchell's school project
  • Unknowingly threw my credit card in the trash (which was being collected today) because awesome lady at Walgreens put my credit card in the prescription bag
  • Found out Tucker's eye has healed itself ok
  • Found out Cooper has a zero platelet count
  • Found out that SOMETIMES, for unknown freakish reasons, when the body has a virus, it can start attacking itself (the platelets) as well as the virus
  • Put Cooper in a helmet so he will not develop any bleeding on the brain while we figure this one out
  • Ate LOTS of Krispy Kremes to make it alllllllll go away

eh.....

can I magically send you away to a tropical island for a day of peace???

You deserve it...

Let's talk soon! It sounds crazy for you right now, and probably not a good time, but let me know when is. You've been on my mind a lot and I have something to tell you about one of your Avon products...
