Project: Love My House (Part 9)

Ha Ha! You thought I had forgotten these, didn't you?

Well I'm BACK.

A few months ago I went to Deb's house for her packing party. (Sniff, sniff.) I looked into her nearly-empty-and-all-packed-up pantry and exclaimed,

"Your pantry is HUUUUGE!"

Important note: Deb and I have the exact same floorplan. The exact same house. The exact same pantry. Except hers was huge now that it was clean and empty, and mine was messy, over-crowded and felt teeny.

For your reference...

An unfair comparison? Maybe. But it was at that exact moment that I realized I wanted my pantry to be huge again. And so Part 9 was born! I had to wait until all the holidays and Etsy craziness were behind me, but I finally got to it. This probably deserved a little more attention than it got today, but I DID fill up 2 trash bags and pulled out about 6 old yellow pages.

Shameful, I tell ya.

And here is the finished project! Still very full, I know... a girl's gotta eat. But at least now you can WALK IN to the walk-in pantry. I like having everything off the floor so it can easily be swept. I did work on more than just the floor - promise!

I wonder what should be next?

Well done, Amy Lou!

Ditto on the yellow pages--we don't even bring them in the apartment anymore; they go right from the doorstep to the recycle. Do people still use those when there's the internet for EVERYTHING?!

What's next??? You can come to my house and begin your next section. "Love my friends' homes..." We'll start by painting the living room. :)

It was not that bad when I last saw it in real life. I love this series! It makes me want to clean my desk now.

No, no, no, Genny stole my idea! You're supposed to come to MY house. Let's just make that clear! ;)

You know I was thinking about these posts just the other day. I'm glad to see you returning to them. Maybe I'll do one of my own.

Or not.
