1. My newest project is a small holiday boutique where I will be selling my Soft Light Swords THIS SATURDAY!!! I've been making millions and millions of swords. Well ok, it's just 40. But that has taken some serious time! Now let's hope they all sell and it will be worth it.
As a side note, I've also fallen in love with making fleece winter hats. I just learned how, and I can't get enough of them. So I've also made over a dozen hats -in assorted sizes and freakin' cute color combinations- to sell there as well. For your consideration, here's my fashion model wearing one of my hats....
2. Speaking of Cooper, now that the big birthday has come, things are a'changing for the boy. I'm cutting back on giving him the binkie when he goes to bed. We're almost completely done there, and it's going well. We're almost not using any formula anymore (hallelujah $$$) and moving on to whole milk. He's not really thrilled about this. Yay. And last, I'm trying to get him to take a sippy cup a whole lot more. Yes, he could/should have been using a sippy cup for a long time now. Believe me, it's not because I didn't try. Now that I'm really pushing it, he's pretty mad. I sure hope we can make this transition nicely. Your advice is welcome! As long as you don't say: a) leave him on the bottle until he's 3-4 years old, or b) try different sippy cups. I've tried at least 6 different spouts, sizes, and textures and I don't think that's a factor...??? Just a stubborn little stink!
3. I think I'm totally addicted to Yoga. Wait, what? Check the blog again, yes, it's me talking. I've been doing some quick little beginner sessions in the mornings here at home, and I can tell it makes a difference. It's pretty easy and fun. I'm sure I look like a complete idiot doing it (hence no pictures, hahaha) since I'm super-NOT-flexible, but oh well. It still feels good. I'll get there. NEVER thought I'd actually crave some type of exercise, let alone actually do it, so I guess it goes to show ya, never say never.

The hat turned out ADORABLE! You are quite the little homemaker.
I'll see ya bright and early Sat.
I LOVE yoga! Haven't done it in a ridiculously long time though, need to get my butt movin and do more than just my 3 times a week walking.
Yay for Amy!!!
I love the hats! Kim let me borrow Rylee's on Mon. morning for our walk cuz Sophie's hat from last year barely squeezed over her head....I bought her a new one Tues.
Good luck on the craft thingy Sat.! Maybe I'll have to come check it out! I don't think I have plans yet, but I have a nagging feeling that I'm forgetting something, so we'll see.
Where is this boutique?
You will have to send an email out with the info for the boutique. And the sippy cup thing, well I had no problem but a friend who did her Dr said to have it dome by 13 months or it would be incredibly more difficult. He said quit the bottle period. in a couple of days the baby WILL drink from a sippy due to thirst. Sounds mean but lets me honest I hate seeing a 3 year old drinking from a bottle. You know who is in charge!! Yoga sounds fun I will have to get the info of how you do it at home. to much $$ to go to a gym!
Let's go to yoga together some time. Don't worry it's always low key and there's no competitive nature to it. What do ya say?
Hmmm, I remember having a lot of trouble getting Aidan to take a sippy (and it wasn't a bottle he wanted, it was me, so I REALLY wanted him to take a cup!), but don't remember much other than that I tried a bunch of different cups, and it was really a pain! Sorry, that's probably not too comforting, but it eventually worked out.
I LOVE the hat. Are you going to sell those on etsy?
Very cute hat and very cute baby.
I keep telling myself I need to start doing Yoga. I hear so much good about it.
The sippy cup? I'll give you my advice, but don't tell CPS. My theory is, if they're thirsty enough, they'll drink out of the sippy cup. :) You can just be stubborn right back. I know, I'm mean.
Sorry I never made it to your boutique! Crazy day today!!
How'd it go?
My Fisher Price mativity set was $39.88 at Walmart. I know you can also get them at FP's website and also Toys'R'Us website. It was nice to be able to take it home and open right away though, so if you can find one at Wally World, I'd suggest that.
