Wow, what a great day. It poured rain all morning and I stayed in my PJ's until almost 11. That right there is a beautiful combination - smelling the cool air and being comfy. The happiness of it all got me ready for the long weekend and family fest that awaits!
I had to run 2 errands, so darn it, I finally got dressed and ready. First I dropped Mr. Reese off at the groomers because he was turning into a stinky canine grass mop. I tried to bathe and trim him myself but my doggie-clippers were groaning under the monumental task. While he was getting that done, I went to Costco. I guess me, half of my ward, and 85% of the population of Minnesota went to Costco today. Wowee! Despite the crowds, I had a great time walking around. Unfortunately, I found about 101 things that I want Santa to bring me. I think I can keep on dreaming. I ended my leisurely stroll with a visit to the massage chair on display. Oh. my. goodness! I sat there for about 20 minutes and didn't feel the least bit embarrassed. It was crazy-awesome. Note to self: MUST get one of those as soon as I am a millionaire. Better keep on dreaming there too.
Grabbed Reese, all shaved and cute, and treated myself to some Taco Heck for lunch (Yay Fruitista Freeze!) Made it home just in time to get the big boys off the bus. Now, my only plans for the rest of the day are to work on my ONE AND ONLY, ridiculously easy food assignment for Thanksgiving tomorrow at the in-laws.... and watch a movie tonight with my honey.
Ahhh I'm in a good mood!

Sweet! Sounds like an awesome day. What was your one and only food assignment? Inquiring minds want to know.
Rainy days are aka pj days at my house. I LOVE to sit in my pj's (as long as I can get away with it) and read... of course with the doors open to let in that fresh rain scent that is so rare here!
That was a perfectly sucessful day.
At our house we refer to it as Taco Smell...
Costco is evil. I mean I love that place but I want everything there, I always buy more than I planned on, and if you see it there once its usually gone by your next trip.
What a lovely day. I love days like that.
I love reading your blog, Amy. It always makes me smile...or laugh out loud. Thanks!! :)
I'd have to say that Costco in the middle of Snowbird season is NOT my favorite!!! I cannot stand having to wait because 10 old people have parked their large carts in the middle of the aisle to saunter over and chat up the sample person while they're eating it all up!!!!!!!!
Can you tell I have no patience?!!!
