Yuck

So I had a fun night. At 3:30 I abruptly woke up to a coughing fit. What? I don't even have a cough. It was like when you go to take a bite of a brownie with powdered sugar on top, and you accidentally inhale the powdered sugar. I hate that. I'm suddenly coughing and gasping for air, almost gagging. I don't know what I did in my sleep, but my throat was dry as a bone and rather irritated I guess! I got a drink, sat there, and realized that I had the worst headache. I could tell it was another migraine and it was coming on FAST. I could not get back to sleep because of the pain. I tried and tried. Pretty soon it's 5:30 and I'm in a cold sweat, which means I'm having a low blood sugar attack. So I get up and get some juice to drink. Head is pounding worse than ever. I finally lay back down and it's only one more hour until my alarm will go off. I still can't fall asleep, though I badly wanted to. When Jason's alarm went off, I told him everything that happened and he stayed home to help the boys get ready for school. I rested for a few more hours, then ate in order to take my pain medicine. Jason decided to stay home the whole day. Horray! Did I mention that he is the best? Just after lunch time the aching was gone at last. I took it slow the rest of the day. I am too busy to be in bed all day, so I got some things done, just very slowly. Here it is, 10pm, and I'm still in the PJ's that I was wearing last night. Yep, I wore them all day. Thank heaven for sick days.

I'm glad you got some help after a rough night. And you still offered to give me dinner last night... what were you thinking?? Why didn't call ME and ask for dinner. I just would've called Roccy and asked her to bring you some food too. Ha ha.

That is so sad, I hope that you don't get anymore! Thank heavens for great husbands. And who doesn't deserve a pajama day every now and again? We love those days!

Thank goodness you have such a good husband that is willing to stay home and take care of things so that you can rest and take care of yourself!!
I'm glad that you're doing better and that you got to wear your jammies for 2 whole days!

I woke up JUST like that coughing the other night, but I had to turn my whole body to the side and barf all over my floor.
