Staying Positive

OK I'm following your advice. Here I am making a list of little (or bigger) things to smile about.

** Gas has dipped below 3 bucks. How sad that it's even exciting. But it IS!

** I got home Saturday night (after the 2 loooongest days of my life) and treated myself to a 90-minute Mulberry Spice bubble bath. I was clean, smooth... even the crusty heels got a pampering! Now THAT was nice.

** I got 3 huge events checked off my list for this month. I can feel a little room to breathe. Only a few more to go. But I'm ready.

** I have gained a few pounds. No rolling of the eyes. This is a huge, nearly impossible big deal for me. Thank you, birth control.

** I maybe, just maybe, got a little motivated about scout stuff for Mitchell. Maybe.

** Halloween is just ELEVEN days away. I get to do some fun "themed" treats w/ the Activity Day girlies next week. Stay tuned for pictures!!!

It was fun to see you guys the other night at trunk-or-treat!
Jason even shelled out extra candies for Raegan! Not that she needs it, but it was super nice of him!
Your kids' costumes are awesome!! You are so talented!!!
Glad you can breathe a little better now that some of your schedule has cleared. Good luck with the secret thing this weekend!!! Hope it goes well and you all enjoy it!

Yay. Those are good things to be happy about. It makes me feel good to hear that someone else has weight issues too. I just started on the BC too for irregular menses (not that you wanted to know that), but I pray every night that it will help me gain weight too. I would LOVE to eat a donut every now and then and have it go straight to my butt! (and maybe a few other places up top...)

I'm happy that you're happy.

So if I even look at food it goes straight to my butt. I wish we could balance each other out. I would gladly peel the fat off of my body and give it to you if I could.

I loved your list - except the Halloween part. That just made my stomach turn. I hate Halloween this year. My kids have no clue what they want to be (Mr. Messy is out) and I have to have costumes ready by Saturday for the Trunk or Treat! AAAHHHHHHHH!!!

Great list! Scouts is easy when you combine it with stuff you have to do anyway, like FHE. Have fun!! :)
