Disneyland Day Four

Our fourth and final day was not really Disney at all, but rather driving a little outside of LA to attend our neice's first birthday party! It was great that we were able to coordinate our trip to be there at the same time as her birthday. It's crazy to think that she's one already, because Lindsey and I were pregnant together and that means that Cooper's birthday is just around the corner! **Shaking my head in disbelief.... and grief**

I kinda liked this picture as she was opening a present....
I don't want to blog the whole party and steal the fun from her parents, so if you want to see all the details then you can read about it HERE!

And to end our trip: Here's Mitchell and Tucker enjoying their new
light sabers in the backyard of the party.
It was a grand time, even though we were both sick. We are just so grateful that it was US, and not the KIDS. We tried not to let it affect their good time. We did, however, successfully pass our germs along to Grandma. (I'm really sorry again, Grandma!!!) Today Jason and I still do not feel well. We are dragging around the house like the living dead. He is going to work tomorrow even though he's developing a cough. The end of my nose is all chapped and worn off. (FYI: Disneyland napkins and restroom paper towels are no match for my love for Puffs Plus with lotion.) I haven't had use of my olfactory senses or tastebuds in days. But I will survive.
It just better not happen when I go to New York!

Looks like FUN! A few months ago I told Jason we need to start planning/saving for our vacation next year and take a "real" family vacation.

We missed Mitchell at Scouts!
