OK this one is even stupider than the last! Don't hate me, but since I've been having fun with this, I wanted to throw out another topic to see if it sparked little conversations...
Here at my house we are the king and queen of baby talk. Especially now that there's a baby around, it's kicked up a notch. Even around the big boys I have some silly phrases that I use with them just for fun. Namely.... I have a habit of making up 2-word rhyming combos that consist of one adjective and one proper name. Then I use that combo as a goofy name for my kid to describe the situation at the time. If you're lost, here's the examples:
When it's cold outside, he's a Chilly Willy
When he's hungry, he's a Starvin' Marvin
When he's goofing off, he's a Silly Billy
When he's taking too long, he's a Slow Joe
When he's dirty, he's a Messy Jessie, or a Sticky Micky (as the case may be)
When I need to go, are you Ready Freddy?
Getting out of the tub, he's a Nakey Jakey.
and so on..... So what others would you like to contribute to our collection???
P.S. I cannot be held responsible if you start picking up this obnoxious habit in your own homes!
