What's going on at my house?

It's been a busy couple of days! On Thursday, my friend Janice from yester-year BYU days came to meet us for a picnic lunch at the park. (It's so fun to have her living here now!) We had a great time soaking in the perfect weather and watching our kids enjoy the playground.

Then late that night Noelle came over to catch up on the final episodes Project Runway. We are so sad it's over... now we need a new show to be addicted to! My mom dropped by to pick up some stuff, and she couldn't resist staying to watch the show too. It was a fun night but let's just say I slept very nicely afterwards.

Bright and early Friday morning.... that's today... the landscape guys showed up to finish our backyard! This has been an ongoing project all week, full of mud and noise out there. We've been excited to watch it all unfold through the back window. I'll spare you the details and just show the "before" and "after" pictures.

Isn't it beautiful? The amount of green out there is so overpowering, it almost seems fake. We are not used to seeing such lovely color when we look out back. Now, let's hope we can keep it alive for the kids to start playing out there in a few weeks. We have a few minor details to finish up, but for now, I could not be happier!
