Superficial Stuff...

80% of my world right now consists of what I can do while flat on my back.  Which doesn't amount to much.  I've read 4 novels in less than 2 weeks.  And TV, ohhhhh the TV!  So let's just talk about the pathetic only thing I have going for me, shall we?

Ringer

This is a new drama on the CW, where one twin commits suicide and the other one decides to take over her "perfect" life to escape her own troubled one.  I am giving this one a chance... the jury is still out.

Terra Nova

FOX brings us a mix of Lost and Jurassic Park.  We watched this last night and it was super exciting!

Up All Night

NBC's new comedy about a couple who just had their first baby and mom goes back to work.  The commercials made this look hilarious and it did not disappoint.

New Girl

FOX's new comedy about a girl who moves in with 3 guys.  If you're a fan of Zooey Deschanel then there's no way you won't like this show.  Full of one-liners and very fun.

And HELLO!?!?!  If you're still reading this far, first of all congratulations.  But HELLO!?!?  Have you seen the new Footloose remake that is coming October 14th?

I am positively giddy.  I loooooved the original, and this one looks like it does not detract one bit.  Right down to the looks of the characters, their lines, the wardrobe, it is perfect.  Just added a modern twist and even better dancing!  Who wants to go see it together?

What the heck? Why are you in bed? Are you sick or is it your back?

I haven't heard of any of these shows. And Jason didn't make it through 5 seconds of the new Footloose preview without complaining. I had no opinion... I've never seen the first one. :)

Have you ever watched "The Middle"? That is one of my favorites. It is hilarious! I can totally identify with the mom, but she's a bit worse than I am, so I always end the show feeling like I'm doing an okay job. If you have netflix you should get the first two seasons on dvd. The third one is playing right now on tv. I think the past couple of episodes are on Hulu right now. I love that show.

My other favorite is Parks and Recs. That one is better if you watch it from the first season on, but holy cow that show is sooo stinkin funny.
