LUCKY 13

I feel terrible that this is a day late. Yesterday Jason and I hit a whopping 13 years of marriage!!! It was a busy day for us. We ended it with a night out together, but the REAL celebration will be in a few weeks. (I can't wait to tell all about it... but later!)

For now, in honor of my Jason, here are only a few of the things that make him so great:

• Every night, he moves a small TV around a corner and facing into the bathroom for me to watch while I soak in the tub. My evening tradition. I can totally move the TV myself, but he does it every time.

• He has been known to hit up the drive-thru at 10 or 11 at night just to buy me french fries (or whatever) that sound good.

• He gets VERY emotional when anything bad happens to little children in movies.

• Neither one of us likes a lick of seafood... or parades.

• He lets me stick my cold feet on him under the covers.

• Out of the 3 drawers in our master bathroom, he knows that 2 and 2/3 of them are "mine."

• He believes that as long as he's home from work, we split the chores and children duties equally.

• He brings me dinner on a tray when I'm completely worn out and just need a little alone time.

• He takes the boys out on little errands or adventures nearly every Saturday just to have time together.

• He lets me model new clothes or show off projects I made and acts interested because he knows I need that.

• When he laughs REALLY hard, it sounds like a bunch of wheezing.

• He keeps 8-10 Chapsticks at various locations around the home, car, office.

• When we're sitting next to each other, he reaches over and pinches my legs.

• He gave me 3 wonderful boys, which I never thought I wanted and now I want nothing else.

• He supports me in every responsibility, dream, or desire I have ever had despite all my OCD, bossy, spoiled, and selfish traits. (Which as you may have noticed are many.)
