It was yesterday actually. I'm a bit late.
In my defense, I let him play video games all night (what a nice wifey, eh?) so I didn't have the proper computer access to blog about it. Either way...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON!!!
We celebrated last weekend with Jason's family. It was nice because our kids' great-grandma was there too, and she also has a birthday coming up!

All my special guys
As my birthday gift to Jason, I'm giving him a small Super Bowl "party." I hate to call it a party because I detest that the Super Bowl must always be on the Sabbath. They are not necessarily the perfect combination, ya know? However, this is the first year in EONS that we have not had church scheduled right during the game, the first year in EONS that he does not have to watch it from a recording. So, as a gift to him, I'm letting him have 2 (limit 2) people over, I will fix them some snacks, and take the kids somewhere else. If you want to hate me, go ahead. Just know that this is an exception rather than the rule.
My final gift to Jason is a date night for us this weekend - WOO HOO!!!!! Grown up conversation outside of the house. Can you stand it? I'm positively starved for it, and I can't wait.
FIVE THINGS OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD THAT I LOVE ABOUT MY HUBBY:
1. He lets me stick my cold feet on him in the middle of the night.
2. He doesn't hesitate to take over household or child-related duties when I need to crash.
3. I love cracking up together over our favorite TV shows.
4. He is instantly like-able in almost any crowd or setting.
5. He has so many, many talents that have blessed our family, jobs, cars, home, etc etc etc.
Love you babe!

That's a great picture of you two. Just so you know, I don't hate you or judge you for having a super small super bowl party. That will be a nice afternoon for him. I have to admit I am constantly thankful that my husband isn't into watching sports on tv.
Happy birthday Jdog.
Thanks babe! <3
First, I so do not hate you for having a party for the Super Bowl--we go to one probably every year. So you can judge me if you want! ;)
Also, I totally agree with the reasons you love him, especially #4 and #5. He's definitely a catch and I love that you really see that in him. I remember you once saying that you wish you could photocopy him and give him to all the women who need a good husband!
Hey, nobody can judge when you decide to watch (or let your husband) the superbowl. :) That's all up to you...and I think it's a mighty fine birthday gift. You are too sweet!!!
