Project: Love My House (Part 3)

It's another closet.... sorry. Hope you're not tired of this already. It may not externally look like that big of a deal, but internally it was a BIG day.

THIS is Cooper's bedroom closet.

(The chair might look a little splotchy because I
just got done spot-cleaning it. VERY needed.)

You will see that the chair sits partially/mostly in front of the closet. Well, when your bedrooms are 10x10, that's just the way you roll. Consequently, we don't get into that far side of the closet too often. Luckily, he's just a little guy, so he doesn't require too much closet space. I realized that since HE doesn't use much, then the rest of it should be MINE. I should be using it for better purposes!!!

Here's what that far side contained before:

Gigantic teddy bears above...

...and a couple of old baby items below. He's long since outgrown them, and they actually don't even belong to us! (Ahem, I will be returning them to their proper owners next Monday, for the record. About time?)

As you can see, that side of the closet was really being wasted. OUT came the bears (anybody want them before they venture to Craigslist?) and away go the borrowed baby items. Voila! Totally empty.

It will now be used for more food storage.
I started it out with these 4 little waters.
How cute they look in there.

And in case you were curious, this is the other side of the closet.
It got some fine-tuning.
That box you see at the very top left?
The one with "Baby Girl Stuff" written on it?
THAT was the hard part of the day.

Yay for progress!

Ouch on the baby girl stuff. Can't relate to that at all. (cough) ;)

I think I found the solution to Anna's space problem. She can just bring stuff over to you!

I guess I can say congrats about the baby girl stuff. But I'm sure it was hard. Good girl. :)

Enjoy all your storage space!

Yay for more organization! You're awesome! Also, just so you know the water jugs (the thin plastic GV type ones) are not good to store. The water bottles you have stored are thick plastic so I'm sure they're okay, but we used to store the GV one in Ethan's closet until I read that they are biodegradable and decided to check on them after readying that, and yup, several had leaked all over the carpet, and who know how long they were leaking. Grrrrr. So be careful NOT to store the gallon sized GV jugs. I learned my lesson.
