Sometimes it's the silliest little things that just make my day, but I'll gladly take them!
To name a few:
1. The rare, yet precious mornings when everyone gets ready and out the door without waking the baby. In this case, I get to go back to bed for a few extra minutes! Glorious.
2. I'm about to finish my very first quilt. I've made a million blankets before, but never actually "quilted." I'm completely teaching myself and learning A LOT from this amazing blog. It's not perfect, though I'm quite proud of the results. Maybe I'll put some pictures on here soon?
3. I am usually completely handicapped when it comes to plain old chocolate chip cookies. I can make all sorts of cookies, just not the classic chocolate chip. Ask my family. I've never been able to explain it. HOWEVER, just yesterday I gave it another try and they turned out awesome!!! There's a first time for everything!
4. Those rice-filled bags you put in the microwave and use as a heating pad. I would die without mine. It saved me last night while I watched LOST in extreme pain. (Anybody know what to do for a pinched nerve? My entire hip joint feels like someone lit it on fire.)
5. Watching LOST. Dang that show is so hard to understand! But it's so good.
6. 12 minutes of Yoga this morning. Also helpful for the burning hip. I hope.

I'd have to agree that sleeping babies, and the opportunity for extra sleep is always glorious!!!

when Gary laughs at my stupid jokes
I wanna see the quilt when its done. I love to quilt--I've only made a few. I just don't have time but I wish I could more.

I LOVE LOST!!! After the season premiere, my mind is BLOWN!!!
My simple pleasure has to be a nice warm shower without little voices on the other side of the curtain calling me. :)
