Roo Roo Magoo!

Happy 6th Birthday to my little Tucker today!!!

At the risk of sounding trite.... it REALLY IS hard to believe such time has gone by with this kid. He has always been my tiny baby. He will unfortunately always be the physical opposite of his brothers (my genes, sorry about that kiddo) but he sure makes up for it in personality! None of my kids has been more entertaining... or more trying. We sure love the laughs that he brings into our house each day! Ask him to do his "Hollywood Giggle" for you sometime.

Tucker has a million nicknames (see the title of this post) -- I will just list a FEW more:

T-bird
Booker T. Washington
Mr. T
Roo
Rooney
La-Roo
Schmucker
or as the kids on the bus call him right now.... Taco. He hates that one.

So in honor of his big day, I present you with a little reminiscing from Tucker's first year. He was quite the unique little cutie-bug. But don't try to snuggle him! Nuh-uh, no way.

I always wanted to remember how small he was, so I took a picture of him next to my ladle! Born 5 lbs, 10 oz.

Note how huge the socks are, how the binky covers half his face... and that's a cloth diaper rolled up next to his head. It could cover him like a blanket.

Deer in headlights!

First smile!

Freeze, Mister!
If you can't tell, Tucker was famous for the raised-eyebrow expression.

This is as chubby as this kid will ever be!

Tucker-in-a-bucket.
(raised eyebrows, see them?)

Yipee I'm ONE!

Sure do love you little man!

I love those pictures of him! That first smile one looks similar to cousin Rylee.
And the next one, freeze mister, is so Tucker! With those large eyes. What a cutie!!!

Okay, in Primary they were highlighting Tucker since he had a birthday coming up. They give clues about the person and we are supposed to guess who it is. The first clue: His favorite meal is Pancake Puffs. Dead giveaway for anyone who reads your blog. Tucker was out of his seat, "Me! Me! I love pancake puffs!" Then all the other kids shouted that they love them too. Which is odd. . . you must have had a lot of primary kids over recently.

Happy birthday Tucker!

Aw, what a cute kid. I can't believe how TINY he was. I'm pretty sure I'll never have one weighing less than eight pounds. Five pounds is so itty bitty.

Turning 30 didn't make me feel old, but seeing people that are supposed to be much younger than me grow up makes me feel my age!

Thanks for the reminders of all his cute Tuckerness. I can't even remember him being so young, and yet I know I was around for it! :P For the record, my favorite nickname that I use is Roo. Just too cute!

What makes me laugh about this is I never thought to take pictures of kitchen utensils next to Adam to see the size. Good idea.

So two years later and more than twice the size your little ball of energy came into the world. I'm so glad they got to play together. He is a pretty great kid!
