Just the Important Stuff

I'm badly in need of a haircut. I think it's been 9 months. Eee-gads.

I'm a little torn as to what I should do. Repeat the last cut, just a little change, or huge change?

YOU GET TO VOTE!

Choice #1: This is about the same as the last haircut. We'll call it MESSY SHORT.

(I would not want the bangs, though.)

Choice #2: Should I let it keep growing and do the LONG WAVY (or in my case, frizzy) thing?

(Of course mine would not include full, pouty lips or near-nakedness)

Choice #3: Or should I go radical SUPER SHORT PIXIE? This one scares me, not because of the extreme change. I love the speed of styling short hair, but when you factor in my curly-ness this one could be disasterous. It never turns out like it does on the women with thin, straight cooperative hair. Noooooo. And my skinny neck (similar to this model) makes me scared I would begin to look giraffe-ish.

I love this woman's expression. She looks so happy to have this hairdo.

Here's a slightly different version of the same idea. I think it's beginning to look like a man. And once again, it lays nice and straight. Mine would NEVER be so kind.

Sooo..... what do you think? Choice 1, 2, or 3? None of the above? Something else? Please help.

Well I am partial to short hair because it seems when people have it long they do not style it like how it is meant to be so it never looks good. So I say 2 or if you are daring 3!!!

Wait I meant 1 or 3 NOT 2.

My vote is #1...it fits your personality! (Not the messy part...just the fast fun part.)

You look very nice in the messy short(#1).

I think you definitely have the face to pull off the super short pixie cut, but I don't know if I would try it since your hair is so curly. What if it didn't work out like planned?

-That Ellen clip was pretty funny. I think Ellen is hilarious.

I really like choice 1. But I am tough with change. Good luck!

Not 2... I think shorter hair looks so much better on you. I personally like the idea of #3 on you A LOT, but I am a fan of daring change... ;) #1 is the safe bet that we know looks great on you.

Ok, I've been toying with the idea of doing something #3 with my hair for a loooong time. But I'm chicken.

So, do #3 so I can live vicariously through you.

I remember seeing you at Enrichment right after Cooper was born (the one at Mel's house) and you had just BARELY chopped your hair and I loved it! But I don't remember it being like #1, I remember it curled under and straight.

I love pixie cuts, but if your hair is that curly, it might not work out.

Good luck!

Messy short is way cute. Or you could go long because I'm thinking of going long and then I won't be alone. :)

I vote for #1 because I think it looks great on you and It seems that even when you don't have time to make it perfectly straight, the frizz isn't bad and it all ends up looking cute.

Yes, I would agree that you're a mommy blogger numbers 5 and 7. You're very good about writing the way we really feel; not sugar-coating life or over dramatizing it.

I say #1! And why not go for bangs?I think you might look good with them. They are a huge pain though! If you get really brave you should consider #3 but try looking up really short hairstyles with curly hair, then you can know a little bit more what to expect! Good Luck! If you need a good stylist I know one :)
